CARDIO-PULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) Adults

1. Check for Danger.
2. Check victim Response – if not response? Call for emergency services.
3. Open the Airway - Tilt the head back and listen for breathing.
5. Effective rescue Breaths - If not breathing, pinch nose and cover the mouth with yours and blow until you see the chest rise. Give 2 rescue breaths. Each breath should take 2 seconds.
6. Chest Compressions - If the victim is still not breathing, coughing or moving, begin chest Compressions. Push down on the chest 1.5 to 2 inches 15 times right between the nipples
